There appear to be others who wander by every once in a while.
If any of you could drop ideas on potential projects, I'll try and do 'em.
Or not. I've just noticed that actually being asked to do something makes me art more/faster.

Oh. And: I'm not dead.

New project? Well... it's not really your style, but my standard answer when someone wants to know what to sculpt/sketch next is "a gryphon and a dragon playing chess." Perhaps you could try that.

Or! Go completely out of the style in your gallery and make a mock dictionary entry for "argist"!

Heh. Gryphon and dragon playing chess... with freaked out little peasants and goblins... yes... there's merit to the thought....

Hahah. Coworker said that Platapai were the silliest looking creatures out there. So I decided to one up him. I'm working on a rough sketch of a platapus with bat wings right now... it's actually turning out fairly well.

Mock dictionary sounds like a good one, too. "The Abridged Dictionary of Colloquial Rickspeke," perhaps.

Huh. See? I think that's why I always use the gryphon-dragon-chess idea. Everyone has a different spin on it. Yours sounds pretty amusing, and I'd love to see it if you ever sketch it.

Platapai are definitely very silly-looking. But your one-up idea sounds even sillier. Good luck with it!

Figures. I did the rough on the cardboard on the back of a pad, 'cause I wasn't sure how it'd turn out. Now I've a decent picture that doesn't wanna scan.... Pure argistry, that.
